Feb. 28th, 2011 03:03 pm...WOW I haven't updated in awhile. Crap.
Cliffnotes:
Went to court last week for that accident I told you guys about. The guy pleaded guilty and is going to pay for the damages on both our cars (Dad's and the blue truck's; white car didn't press charges) so that went well. He caught us all in the hall to apologize, too. He actually seems like an okay guy. What I'm shocked by is exactly how drunk he was. Legal limit in Michigan is .08? He blew a .23. Holy crap, no wonder he hit all of us. Nobody was hurt, thankfully.
Got a haircut! Donated the 10-12 inches I got chopped off to Locks of Love, and got a free haircut because of it. Hilariously, despite how much I got cut off, it's still armpit length. MY HAIR GROWS TOO FAST.
Managed to burn the CRAP out of my stomach this morning. A fist-sized area got hit by a splash of boiling water, and I couldn't get my shirt off fast enough to stop it from doing minimal damage. So far, I've been hatching a baggie full of ice under my shirt for the past 6 hours. I'm on my third, the other two melted already. I don't suppose anyone has any not-medical remedies? I've been trying caffeine and chocolate to get my endorphins up, but that doesn't help the burn itself. Hurts like hell.
Beyond that, just typical school and family stuff. I might be getting a job, I'm pretty happy about that. ♥ Anyway, now off to backtrack on my f-list. Crap, this is going to take awhile.
